Hello Mindy, I've previously rescued/fostered 4 great pyrenees and 1 newfoundland. I came across this breed when looking at a dog listed as a "shiloh" at a nearby shelter. Quite used to fluffy gentle giants, I'm nonetheless looking for a "smaller" giant breed - and contemplating either fostering or perhaps adopting an older dog. I've started some research on the breed, and would love to speak with you if possible.
Thank you in advance for your time. Wendy

I am interested in one of your Shiloh puppies when available.
My wife and I are both retired and have had three Shilohs. The first, Samson, lived to be 14 yoa, the second Rommel, died at 41/2 due to kidney infection that the vets had no idea what caused it or how to correctly treat the illness even after numerous tests. I spent two days and nights in the large vets cage with him (Rommel) and was with him when he died. It was the most painful experience I have ever had to go thru. We rescued our first Shiloh when he was two and he was wonderful in every way. When he passed we had a complete funeral for him and we remembered all our wonderful times with him. We again had a funeral for a Rommel and experienced the same sense of pain and loss as with the passing of our first Shiloh. We now have a third Shiloh Panzer, which is seven and like the others he is the light of our lives. He is fully trained and accompanies us everywhere. Rommel our 2d was purchased from a breeder Laura Kathryn in Washington when he was eight weeks old and flown to us. The one we have now was also purchased a an 8 weeks old puppy from Pennsylvania and he was also flown to us. If we are selected to purchase one of your puppies we would be happy to drive to you to pick it up or again, have it flown to us at our expense. Please consider us for one of you puppy's from your next litter.
Thank you ,
Ed

Hello
My husband and I live in NE Wyoming on a cattle ranch
We owned Our Shiloh for 8 years her name was Savannah. Our son purchased her from a breeder in Missouri and when he went to college one year later we kept her. We never regretted that decision and loved her dearly. She was everything they say about Shilohs. She was a beautiful sable smooth coat. We lost her suddenly 2 weeks ago. Would love to send you a picture of her. We have decided to begin to look for another Shiloh and came across your site from the ISSR site.
Not sure what the whole process Is but would like to Maybe discuss puppy options. Thank you

Good morning. I have spent the last hour on your website. I am so impressed!
My husband and I were walking in Raleigh (Cameron Village) yesterday and noticed this amazingly beautiful puppy. I asked if I could pet him and of course the owner oblidged. My husband has been interested in purchasing a German shepherd. But after seeing this dog, listening to the owner, and reading about this breed, we are sold. I believe he purchased his puppy in the keys, but mentioned you as the breeder.
Currently not in the market as we already have 2 dogs. One of which I found lost on the side of the road ( in rough shape) in 2013 and the other we adopted from a dog trainer (C.Mahaney) out of Michigan (friend of friend). The owner had cancer and could no longer care for the dog, so we took her in.
I am extremely impressed with you matching the right dog in the right home. So many people wanting a dog, with all good intentions, sometimes do not considered the best interests of the dog. hen later give them up because they "can't handle", or "do not fit their lifestyle".
Sorry...I am rambling. LOL
Although we are not in the market currently, we certainly will be contacting you when we are. Looking forward to meeting you and your pups one day.

The likelihood of us running into the same Shilo puppy (Atlas) in Raleigh...not likely at all...but we did. At the time had no idea, but when I saw that puppy I could tell it was a Shilo, so I asked the owner if it was a Shilo....she was impressed that I knew that. It was only through our previous encounter and the research that I would have known.
After a few minutes of conversation, we realized it was the same dog we had seen a month ago. Soooooo gorgeous. And well behaved I might add.
