On June 21, 2009 Starr was known as light pink girl of the Shelby3/Zeke litter at Strauss Haus Shepherds. Then on August 28th she began her new journey, leaving all she ever knew, locked in a crate to her new forever home. She left Seattle, WA at 11p PST and arrived in Indianapolis at 10am EST on August 29th.
She greeted me with poopy feet, but a wagging tail that wouldn't stop! I was stopped by about 15 people wanting to know what she was, her breed and how old she was. Even covered in poop she stopped traffic!
Today she started her socialization and nothing phases her. She walks up to anyone wanting to be petted and gives my dogs a run for their money. She's going to fit in well here.
She continues to be a very confident puppy, loves to play hard, but sleeps harder. She is going to be a fun puppy to show and train, she has a zest for life.
Starr is working towards her ISSR Championship, and then going towards Grand Victrix. After that she will most likely be retired from the show ring. Her next adventure will be agility class. She is very agile and regularly jumps on the treatment table at work from a stand still.
Dock Diving is Starr's new favorite sport. She goes absolutely insane to jump into the pool to get her ball. We just started a few months ago (5/12) and her longest jump is about 13'. We have a long way to go, but she will start jumping further.
Starr obtained her ISSR Championship at Homecoming 2012. Congrats Starr!
