Emmy is my pick girl from her litter. She has grown into a great example of the Shiloh breed. Emmy is confident, outgoing and a complete goofball. She visited a local dog show with hundreds of dogs and thousands of people and she just hung out and actually tried to sleep during it all. She is an active girl who is constantly wanting to play with her housemates. Emmy definitely inherited that from her mom, Lyric. Emmy won ISSA Grand Victrix in 2022, 2021 and also won Grand Victrix cumulative over the last 5 years in the ISSA. She also blew us away when she won Grand Seiger at the IABCA Hoosier Classic in 2021. Both of her litters we had some fantastic conformation and great family dogs.
Banyan is an absolutely amazing young boy who loves to learn new things. The first thing you will notice when looking at hime, that his ears are down. That is because he is apart of our ISSA Outcross project. He is a F2 from our Boeke/Feylin (F1) litter and Boeke was brought in to bring in health and genetic diversity. Banyan was chosen out of the Zam/Floyd (F2) litter for his diversity, temperament and health he brings to the table as an F2 (second generation from the outcross) to be bred to Emmy. This litter the puppies will be F3 Shilohs, so they will be approximately be 87.5% Shiloh and 12.5% Outcross and look very much like purebred Shilohs. We hope to bring those ears up in this next generation, as we did see some up ears in his littermates. He has already started learning scent work, protection work and obedience and aced his temperament test last November at Nationals. He loves other dogs and hasn't met a dog yet he doesn't like and is friendly with new people, although a little aloof at first. Having met Banyan, he is one rock solid boy.
By pairing these two we will get a range of laid back to very active, smart, funny and sassy puppies that will do well in most any home. They will be smart as a whip and keep you on your toes with their diva ish ways. Both parents are water dogs, so I imagine these puppies will enjoy being in the water. Dock diving may be their jam as they grow! They are also ball hogs, so be prepared for playing fetch a lot! We should get a range of temperaments, but with amazing confidence. These puppies will be all shades of sables, some will have the dual recessive gene from their dad.
